The bride couldn't find orange shoes, so she glittered up some pink ones.  They were fantastic!

So, I've been blessed with a beautiful cousin who is happy to be a model for me when I need it.  I had recently purchased an attachment that allows me to set my flash on a light stand away from my camera and have it fire right on time.  It's a wonderful thing that I hadn't really gotten a chance to try out.  You see, my husband isn't a very willing model, and my darling daughter is much more interested in the umbrella than standing in one place for me.

Kenzie and I headed over to some bike trails about five minutes from my home for our shoot.  It was hot, humid, and very buggy out, but luckily the heat doesn't show on her like it does on me!

I'm so very happy with these photos!  How lucky am I to have her as a readily available model?  Extremely is the answer you're looking for!

I'll be shooting a wedding Saturday and I'm stoked to be able to tote along my external flash set up and see what I can come up with.
